Alan's vegetable garden is coming along. After two months, we have already picked fresh vegetables for dinner!!! This year's crop consists
of blueberries, strawberries, green beans, lima beans, cucumbers, green peppers, yellow squash, cherry tomatoes and regular tomatoes.

Station 37 - B-Shift

Alan will miss his friends at the fire department, but he is finally with his family in Georgia.



Georgia...Here We Come!!!

     

This starts a new chapter in our lives as we move from South Florida to Georgia!!! We are sad to leave our friends behind, but are happy to be with the rest of our families as we get ready for those "retirement days" ahead and the building of our "Mountain Dream Home" in a few years.

Alan's fire station is selling t-shifts for a limited time only. These were made especially
for Station 37 in Lantana and supplies are limited. The first one is "The Amazing Fireman" shirt and the second one is the official Station 37 shirt featuring the station's mascot, the pirate. They're 100% cotton and pre-shrunk. The adult shirts are $15.00 and children's sizes are $12.00. All proceed go to the station's fund that we use to sponsor Egg Hunts and other events. Pictures from the 2004 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!!
Alan woke up on Thursday morning at 5:30 A.M. and went down to Broadway to stake his claim of the sidewalk for the Parade that started at 9:00 A.M. The weather was great: 53 degrees with a slight chance of rain. The family got front row seats and had a great time!!! (Alan did get a nap later that day!!!)
